Marketplace storefront
Multi-brand catalogue with vendor pages, search and filters, cart across vendors and a single checkout.
WeaveHub brings fashion and textile sellers onto one marketplace. SpikeSecure built the platform with Razorpay Route split payments so vendors are paid automatically, KYC-gated vendor onboarding, commission rules and logistics integration, and pushed back when the wrong feature was about to ship.
WeaveHub is a multi-vendor marketplace for fashion and textile brands. The platform needed to onboard vendors safely, sell their products under one storefront, split every payment between the marketplace and the vendor automatically, and hand orders to logistics partners. SpikeSecure built the marketplace with Razorpay Route split payments, vendor KYC and logistics integration. The director describes SpikeSecure as a real partner rather than a vendor, one that pushed back when the team was about to ship the wrong thing.
Marketplaces fail on trust and money movement: unverified vendors, manual payouts that fall behind, disputes over commissions and shipping that nobody owns. WeaveHub needed those problems solved in the platform rather than in spreadsheets, and needed a partner willing to challenge feature requests that would have added complexity without value.
The objectives were: KYC-gated vendor onboarding, automatic split of each payment between marketplace and vendor, configurable commissions, logistics integration for pickup and tracking, and a vendor console that sellers could run themselves.
Multi-brand catalogue with vendor pages, search and filters, cart across vendors and a single checkout.
Document collection and verification before a vendor can list, with bank details captured for payouts.
Each order's payment split automatically between the marketplace commission and the vendor's account, with settlement records.
Category- and vendor-level commission rates, promotions and fee rules managed by the marketplace team.
Pickup scheduling, shipping labels and tracking with logistics partners, visible to vendors and customers.
Vendors manage products, orders and settlements; the marketplace team manages vendors, disputes, commissions and reporting.
Two very different users share the platform: shoppers who expect a single-brand-quality experience, and vendors who are often small businesses without operations staff. The vendor console was designed to be run from a phone, with product listing, order handling and settlement views in plain language. Weekly demos surfaced several requested features that would have complicated the vendor experience; the team recommended against them, and the client credits that honesty.
Marketplace scoping, pricing and platform choices (Sharetribe, Bagisto or custom) are described on the marketplace development page.
“A real partner, not a vendor. They pushed back when we were about to ship the wrong thing.”

Razorpay Route splits each order's payment between the marketplace's commission and the vendor's linked account automatically, so payouts do not depend on manual transfers.
A KYC workflow collects and verifies business and bank documents before a vendor can list products or receive payouts.
