Rider app
Bike shown first for short trips with arrival time and upfront fare, pin-drop pickup at landmarks, ride OTP, helmet and insurance notice, masked calls, share trip, SOS, UPI, wallet and cash, ratings and tips, in Tamil, Hindi or English.
SpikeSecure builds bike taxi booking platforms like Rapido or Uber Moto under your own brand: a rider app, a captain app and an operations console, with upfront fares, ride OTP, helmet and insurance prompts, captain KYC, SOS, UPI and daily payouts. Built in Flutter at our Coimbatore office for startups and operators in Coimbatore, Chennai and across India. Single-city MVP from ₹7 lakh.

A bike taxi app matches a rider with a nearby two-wheeler captain, shows an upfront fare, and runs the ride with an OTP at pickup, live tracking, SOS and a UPI or cash payment, while the captain app handles ride offers, navigation, earnings and payouts. SpikeSecure Technologies Pvt. Ltd., CHIL SEZ IT Park, Coimbatore, builds this as three products: rider app, captain app and an operations console for KYC, fares, zones, safety and payouts.
Bike taxis need more than a car app with a different icon: shorter matching radii, a helmet and insurance step, single-seat rules, captain documents for two-wheelers, and fare cards tuned for short city trips. Whether private or commercial-plate two-wheelers may carry paying riders is decided state by state, so we make vehicle rules, permits and city availability configurable and ask you to confirm the legal position for your city with your counsel before launch.
The live bike ride is in the page header. Below: booking with the bike option first, the captain's ride offer, captain onboarding and the dispatch console.

Illustrative screens rendered by SpikeSecure for this page. The app name VaanRide, people, number plates, fares and every figure are sample data, not a client's app or any real app's interface; your build carries your brand, fare rules and cities.

Online toggle and zone, timed ride offers with pickup distance and fare, Google Maps navigation hand-off, earnings by day and week, incentive targets, pass or commission status, document renewals and a helmet check-in photo if you require one.
A tight first radius because a bike two minutes away beats a cab five minutes away, heading-aware scoring, re-offer on decline, and separate bike, auto and cab pools in the same city.
Base fare with included kilometres, per-km and per-minute rates, minimum fare, night charges, surge by zone with a cap, and fare cards per city editable without a release.
Two-wheeler licence and RC checks, insurance expiry alerts, police verification, selfie liveness on login if you want it, rider and captain ratings, and trip replay for complaints.
Daily or weekly captain payouts through RazorpayX or Cashfree with TDS where it applies, cash-ride settlement, and daily, weekly or monthly passes with auto-debit for zero-commission models.
Ride-hailing aggregators in India work under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways' Motor Vehicle Aggregator Guidelines and each state's own aggregator rules, which decide licensing, fare caps, driver checks and whether two-wheelers can be used as taxis. Bike taxi permission has differed between states and has changed through court cases and new state policies, so we do not hard-code it. Instead the app treats every rule as city settings:
This is engineering for compliance, not legal advice. Confirm your city's position with a transport lawyer before launch; we build to what they confirm.

Short answer: a taxi or bike taxi app in India costs ₹4–8 lakh for an operator's own fleet, ₹7–18 lakh for a two-sided ride-hailing platform and ₹18–30 lakh and up for several cities. Maps and SMS charges, gateway fees, developer accounts and GST are extra. The figure is fixed in a written quote after discovery.

At SpikeSecure a single-city bike taxi MVP with rider, captain and admin apps costs ₹7–12 lakh, a bike, auto and cab platform ₹12–18 lakh, and a multi-city platform ₹18–30 lakh and up. Maps and SMS charges, KYC calls, gateway fees, developer accounts and GST are extra.
It depends on the state. Aggregators work under the central Motor Vehicle Aggregator Guidelines and each state's own rules, and bike taxi permission has differed between states and changed over time. We build vehicle rules, documents and city availability as settings so you can follow what your state allows; confirm your city's position with a transport lawyer before launch.
Yes. We build daily, weekly and monthly passes with UPI auto-debit, show pass status in the captain app, and stop ride offers when a pass lapses. You can run commission in one city and passes in another.
Ride OTP at pickup, verified captain details and plate, helmet reminder and spare-helmet confirmation, trip insurance notice, masked calls, live trip sharing, SOS to emergency contacts and your control room, ratings, and trip replay for complaints.
Yes. Vehicle classes are configuration on the same rider app, captain app and console; adding autos or cabs means a new fare card, document list and pool, not a new app.
Yes. We build in Coimbatore, where our office is, and for Chennai clients from Coimbatore with on-site kick-off and launch visits. We have no Chennai office.
Yes. The code is in your GitHub organisation from day one, and the apps are published under your own Apple and Google developer accounts, with maps, SMS, payment and cloud accounts in your name.
We cache places and geocoding results, request routes only when a trip needs them, use map-matching on the server rather than per-second API calls, and can use open-source routing (OSRM) for estimates. We model the monthly maps bill against your projected trips before the build.
A 30-minute discovery call and a fixed-scope quote — usually within 48 hours. No deck, no sales theatre.
