React development

React development for dashboards, consoles and interactive products.

React is the library behind every SpikeSecure front end: the admin consoles of our products, the operations dashboards of delivery platforms, the vendor consoles of marketplaces and the public sites built on Next.js. We build React applications with TypeScript, a design system and automated tests, and React Native apps where a React team will maintain them.

Direct answer

What we use React for, and what it costs.

React is a JavaScript library for building user interfaces from reusable components. SpikeSecure uses React, with TypeScript, for the interactive parts of every platform we build: admin panels, operations dashboards, vendor and agent consoles, booking flows and data-heavy screens, and through Next.js for public websites. Our own products, including the SpikeAssist admin built with React and Ant Design, run on it. React applications at SpikeSecure start at ₹3 lakh and take 8–16 weeks depending on screens and integrations.

Use React when the interface is interactive and stateful: many screens, filters, forms, real-time updates. For content-only websites React alone is the wrong tool; we use Next.js (React with server rendering) or WordPress instead.

What we build with it

React projects we take on.

01

Admin panels and back offices

Order, catalogue, user and settings management for stores, marketplaces and apps, with role-based menus and audit views.

02

Operations dashboards

Live views for dispatch, bookings, production or sales pipelines with real-time updates, filters and exports.

03

Vendor, agent and partner consoles

Self-service consoles for marketplace vendors, real-estate agents or channel partners, designed to be run from a phone.

04

Data-heavy screens

Tables with thousands of rows, virtualised lists, charts and bulk actions that stay responsive.

05

Design systems

Component libraries built on Ant Design or Tailwind so every screen is consistent and new screens are fast to build.

06

React Native apps

Mobile apps in React Native when your team is React-based and will maintain them; otherwise we recommend Flutter.

How we build React

Practices that keep React apps fast and maintainable.

  • TypeScript everywhere. Typed props, API clients and state catch most bugs before they reach staging.
  • Server state with React Query. Caching, retries and background refresh handled consistently rather than hand-rolled per screen.
  • A design system first. Buttons, forms, tables and layout defined once, so screens are consistent and quick to add.
  • Performance budgets. Code splitting by route, virtualised lists, memoisation where measured, and bundle-size checks in CI.
  • Tests on the flows that matter. Playwright end-to-end tests on login, checkout, order and payment flows; Vitest for logic.
  • Accessibility. Keyboard navigation, focus management and ARIA on interactive components, to WCAG 2.1 AA.

How we work

How a React project runs, step by step.

The same six steps run on every project we take in Coimbatore, whether it is a five-page website or a multi-vendor platform.

01

Discovery — week 1

We listen, audit what exists and write down what success looks like in numbers, then send a fixed-scope written quote, usually within 48 hours.

02

Design — weeks 2–3

Wireframes, design system and a clickable prototype. You see every screen before a line of code is written.

03

Build — week 3 onwards

Weekly demo on a staging URL and GitHub access from day one, so you are never wondering where the project is.

04

Test — final 1–2 weeks

Functional, performance, accessibility and security testing against a pre-launch checklist signed off in writing.

05

Launch — launch week

DNS, monitoring, analytics and backups configured; we watch the first 72 hours with you.

06

Support — ongoing

30-day warranty on every build, then optional SLA-backed maintenance with a monthly health report.

FAQ

Questions about React development.

React or Next.js?

Next.js is React with server rendering and routing built in. We use Next.js for anything with public pages, and plain React (with Vite) for internal tools and admin panels that sit behind a login.

How much does a React dashboard cost?

Admin panels and dashboards cost ₹3–8 lakh at SpikeSecure; multi-role applications with integrations ₹8–25 lakh. Costs depend on the number of screens, data complexity and real-time requirements.

Do you build React Native apps?

Yes, when the client's team is React-based and will maintain the app. Our default for new mobile apps is Flutter; we explain the trade-offs before recommending either.

Can you take over an existing React codebase?

Yes. We audit the code, dependencies and performance, report the risks in writing, and either stabilise and extend it or plan a phased rebuild.

Can you provide dedicated React developers?

Yes. Dedicated React and Next.js developers and teams for Indian and international clients; see the hire developers in India page.
