Canadian leisure stays are seasonal: ski resorts and mountain lodges in winter, cottages, cabins, fishing lodges and national-park stays in summer. Operators want direct bookings beside Booking.com, Expedia and Airbnb, with two-season rate plans, activity add-ons and bilingual booking flows.
Where and who
We build for Canadian lodges, ski resorts, cottage and cabin operators and wilderness outfitters, with properties in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Québec and the Maritimes. The app is designed around how those stays are actually sold: unit types, seasons, packages and the add-ons guests buy with the room.
Languages
English and French (French is required for a Québec audience).
Payments, taxes and price display
Guests pay through Stripe with cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Interac where you want it. GST or HST, provincial and municipal accommodation taxes and any mandatory fees are included in the first price shown, in line with the Competition Act's drip-pricing provisions. The fee and tax set-up is confirmed with your accountant before launch.
Compliance
We design for PIPEDA and the provincial laws that apply to you, in particular Quebec's Law 25 (consent, privacy officer, impact assessments, breach registers), CASL consent rules for email and SMS, bilingual English and French interfaces where Quebec's Charter of the French Language requires them, WCAG 2.1 AA under the AODA in Ontario and the Accessible Canada Act, and PCI DSS scope kept inside the gateway, at the time of writing (October 2026). Your counsel signs off; we implement. For resort bookings we also scope with your counsel provincial short-term rental and tourism accommodation rules, and Québec's French-language requirements; guest ID documents are stored encrypted with retention rules.
Hosting
AWS ca-central-1 (Montréal) or ca-west-1 (Calgary), Google Cloud Montréal or Toronto, or Vercel with a Canadian region, in your accounts with your billing; encrypted Postgres, S3 and a CDN in front. Data stays in Canada unless you choose otherwise.
