Ghana's leisure stays are beach resorts on the coast from Ada to Busua, lakeside lodges at Akosombo, eco-lodges and safari stays, booked by Accra residents for weekends and by diaspora and international visitors around December. Many bookings still happen on WhatsApp and by bank transfer; a booking app gives live availability and mobile-money deposits.
Where and who
We build for Ghanaian beach resorts, eco-lodges, hotels and tour operators, with properties in Accra, Ada, Akosombo, Cape Coast, Busua and Mole. The app is designed around how those stays are actually sold: unit types, seasons, packages and the add-ons guests buy with the room.
Languages
English, with French for guests from neighbouring countries.
Payments, taxes and price display
Guests pay through MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash and AirtelTigo Money through Paystack, Flutterwave or Hubtel, alongside cards. VAT, the tourism levy and service charge are itemised with the total shown before payment. The fee and tax set-up is confirmed with your accountant before launch.
Compliance
We design for Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and registration with the Data Protection Commission where your processing requires it, Bank of Ghana rules where the product holds or moves customer money (you or a licensed partner hold the licence, not us), the Cybersecurity Act, 2020, and Ghana Card-based KYC where identity is needed, at the time of writing (October 2026). Your counsel signs off; we implement. For resort bookings we also scope with your counsel Ghana Tourism Authority licensing for accommodation establishments; guest ID documents are stored encrypted with retention rules.
Hosting
AWS af-south-1 (Cape Town) or eu-west-2 (London), Google Cloud Johannesburg or London, or Vercel, in your accounts with your billing; encrypted Postgres, object storage and a CDN with African edge locations in front, plus offline-tolerant mobile clients for patchy connectivity.
